Deep Water Solo Climbing | Description
You’ve already scaled the rocks by doing traditional rock-climbing; you’ve experienced the excitement of clambering to the top of the cliff-side; and now you’re looking for the next challenge?
Look no further; Real Rocks have the perfect experience to give you a fresh new adrenalin buzz!
Deep Water Solo Climbing, referred to by many as the purest of rock climbing techniques, is also one of the most exhilarating. For those unfamiliar with the term; quite simply, it means going solo on the rock face; just you and the craggy cliff beneath your body, with no ropes or harnesses!
Few sport activities can match the heart-pounding thrill of scaling the rocks with only your bare hands and feet to rely on; its pure, unadulterated excitement at its best.
Real Rocks are very experienced (and a little addicted) to Deep Water Soloing, and know the best spots in the region to enjoy the sport. We climb at the scenic Phra Nang Peninsula, famous for its beautiful views of the Andaman Sea; where we traverse a path across the rugged cliff face before leaping off into the waters, 30 metres below.
After the excitement of our climb, we then head back to the shores to enjoy a little relaxation and respite on the white sands, plus a much needed hearty dinner to refresh ourselves and talk about the experiences of the day.
To give yourself a real challenge and to take part in one of the most exhilarating ‘extreme’ sports in the world, join us for this thrilling, unforgettable afternoon of deep water solo climbing fun!
