Bangkok Food Tours tour of historic Bangrak not only introduces you to some of the finest flavours of the country, but offers you a rare glimpse of Bangkok generally only seen by the locals.
Join us as we take a leisurely stroll through the streets of Bangrak; a region of the city set alongside the picturesque Chao Phraya River, famed for its fabulous cuisine and interesting landmarks. Our guide will keep you informed throughout the walk as we explore Bangrak, stopping at five of the best eating establishments along the way.
We sample a wide range of dishes, including succulent Kao-Nha-Ped (juicy Roasted Duck with Rice), delicious Crispy Catfish with a Green Mango sauce and traditional Thai coconut ice cream. At each establishment, grab the chance to converse with the restaurant owners, hear about their recipes, often handed down through the generations, and perhaps pick up a few tips to take home with you!
Along the way, we will be visiting a 200 year old Thai Temple, celebrated for its stunning Buddhist architecture; one of the finer Roman Catholic Churches in Bangkok and the oldest Hindu Temple in the city, which is a truly unique building.
If you thought you knew Thai cuisine before; think again. Bangkok Food Tours takes Thai food to a whole new level and offers you a glimpse into local life in the capital, far removed from the general tourist trail.
